Event/ Activity Summary

A safe workplace is a key component to developing a positive corporate culture. Health and safety procedures in the workplace reduce employee illnesses and injuries greatly. To promote the Safe, Healthy and Environment among co-workers, Hume Cement Employee Engagement Committee has organized Interzone Futsal Championship. Other than Hume Cement, to make the event merrier, the invitation has been extended to Southern Steel, Hume Concrete, DOSH Perak and DOE Perak. 

Also present at the event as players were Hume Industries Berhad Executive Director Mr.  Joonho Choi and Hume Cement Head of Manufacturing Mr. Peter Jorgensen.

Although they were competing against each other, they were light moments of laughter between players, giving a tip or two among them.

The Interzone Futsal Championship concluded with roaring cheers with the announcement of the overall champion, which went to the Zone 7 CCR Team Hume Cement, followed by Department of Environmental, Perak and finally  Southern steel, Perai taking third place.
