A Day As Chef
Spending time in the kitchen and cooking helps to develop a positive connection to all different types of foods including fruits and vegetables. Children in PECH have learnt basic cooking skills by touching, tasting, feeling, smelling, and listening coached by our fellow Hume Cement colleagues. The children have being engaged in preparing the ingredients before learning how to cook supervise by our dedicated colleagues.

Our fellow colleagues have turned PECH into an open kitchen, having pizza making and muffin decorating session with the children. They were happily enjoying their own made pizza with their favourite topping such sausages, mushroom, and cheese. There was cupcake decoration session too. The children are so creative by coating their cupcakes with chocolate drizzle, mash mellow, whipped-cream and more. You can believe how creative the children can be. And we are surprise of every individual children creative master-piece.

The children have enjoyed it so much and we hope that this will motivate them to be independent and being appreciative for the amount of sweat and hardwork to prepare their nice and delicious daily food.
