A non-profit organization originally founded in Cambodia in 2000 by Dr. Madenjit Singh, SOLS 24/7 Malaysia was set up in 2007 by the organization’s Co-founder and also Dr Madenjit Singh’s son; Teacher Raj.

SOLS 24/7 Malaysia has established and operates a Solar Academy and Youth Development Centre in Kuala Lumpur. The centre provides unique training programmes for SPM leavers and school dropouts in the English Language, Computer Skills, Life Skills & Mathematics, Project Management and Solar. All training programmes are provided for free.

As with most non-profit organizations where funding is limited, the Youth Development Centre in Kuala Lumpur had unfortunately fell to disrepair. Hume Cement Sdn. Bhd. stepped in to support the organization by donating cement for new flooring and tile laying.
