Organized by DOSH Malaysia, Workplace Accident-Free Week (WAFEW) 2019 taken place at Hume Cement Manufacturing Plant was a successful event. WAFEW aim is to promote and to increase awareness on ‘Preventive Accident Culture’ at the workplace. Throughout the week, a series of programs i.e. waste management and chemical respiratory training being carried out for the staffs and the contractors of Hume Cement Sdn. Bhd. It is an exposure platform to educate the employer and employees on occupational safety and health aspect at the workplace with instilling HIRARC (Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Risk Control) concept.
