On 23 March 2022, Hume Cement's Gopeng Plant had the special privilege of hosting a study tour by Department of Environment (DOE) Perak officers and their current batch of industrial-training students. During the visit, the DOE entourage was given a tour of the Control Room and briefed on the types of equipment installed within the plant to effectively control air emissions.
