Event/ Activity Summary

Representatives of Hume Cement Gopeng Plant experienced a blessed and well-spent weekend, when they were given the opportunity to accompany children from an orphanage on their day out in town for their Hari Raya shopping.

During the outing, the children’s eyes lit up and they were excited as they get to choose and try on their new clothes and shoes for the upcoming Hari Raya celebrations. Aside from shopping, the children were each gifted with ‘duit raya’ token at the end of the outing.

The outing was spearheaded by Perak’s Department of Environment as part of their Hari Raya programme, and Hume Cement Gopeng Plant was privileged to participate in the memorable outing as a strategic industry partner.
