HCIB demonstrated its commitment to community and environmental initiatives by donating 320 cement bags, valued at RM7,200, to Zoo Negara. This generous contribution facilitated a series of enhancement projects aimed at improving both animal habitats and the overall visitor experience at the zoo. Key projects included the construction of an artificial tree and feeding post for the raccoon exhibit, which adds a touch of naturalistic charm and enrichment for the raccoons. Additionally, an artificial river was created for the giraffe 'Mas Kira' exhibit, providing a more stimulating and aesthetically pleasing environment for the giraffes.

The donation also enabled significant upgrades to the Enrichment Centre, ensuring that various facilities and buildings are better equipped to serve both animals and visitors. In the Bird Aviary, filter flooring was installed for the Milky Stork pond, enhancing the cleanliness and maintenance of the exhibit. A stone tree was developed for the Bird of Paradise exhibit, offering a visually captivating feature that closely mimics the birds' natural habitat. Furthermore, a new shelter was built for the deer, providing them with a safe and comfortable resting area.

In the Bear Complex, a burrow was constructed for the wallaby, offering a secure and enriching space for these animals. Enhancements were also made to the VIP feeding area for hippos, improving the experience for visitors participating in these unique interactions. These comprehensive improvements highlight HCIB's dedication to social responsibility and community engagement, ensuring that Zoo Negara continues to be a place where animals thrive and visitors enjoy memorable experiences.
